Luca Rizzotti
Founder and President, Foiling Week | Founder, The Foiling Organization
Luca Rizzotti founded Foiling Week in 2014 on Lake Garda, at Fraglia Vela Malcesine, as a meeting point for the foiling community. In 2021 World Sailing awarded Foiling Week Special Event status, the only community-based event in the group. In 2025 the event held its first US edition in Pensacola. Through WeAreFoiling he also runs the World Foiling Congress, the Foiling Sport Congress and the Foiling Awards.
He is the founder of The Foiling Organization (TFO), which is building global standards and certification for the foiling industry.
Active in foiling since 2005, Luca served as President of the International Moth Class for seven years and as AC40 Class Manager for three years. He is based in Milan.
