Fabrizio Pirina

Fabrizio Pirina is the Sports Manager at the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS), where he has been part of the Club’s sporting organisation for more than 25 years. Over the course of his career, he has played a key role in the development and delivery of the Club’s racing programme. Since joining YCCS during the tenure of its first Commodore, Gianfranco Alberini, Fabrizio has witnessed first-hand the Club’s sporting evolution and its emergence as an international reference point in the world of yachting.
His experience encompasses the full spectrum of race organisation, from event planning and coordination to race management and on-the-water logistics, working closely with sailors, owners, race officials, technical teams and international sailing organisations.
Alongside his role at YCCS, Fabrizio serves as Vice Chairman of the Promotional and Development Committee and member of the Offshore Classes & Events Committee of the Offshore Racing Congress (ORC), contributing his expertise to the development of offshore racing and the organisation of international events.
