Dan Jaspers
Marine and Sports Industry Executive
Dan Jaspers is an international marine and sports industry executive with more than 25 years’ experience spanning commercial development, international sport, sailing programmes and strategic consultancy.
Originally trained as a Teacher of Outdoor Education, Dan has combined his educational and coaching background with a career in international sport and the commercial marine industry. A former Training and Development Manager at World Sailing, he has worked extensively with sailing organisations and national authorities around the world and continues to support World Sailing as a Coach Developer and Apprentice Coach Mentor.
His commercial experience has included serving as adiConnect Partnership Manager for adidas Sailing and as Head of International Business Development for RS Sailing, the world’s largest small sailboat manufacturer, alongside wider roles in business development and strategic consultancy.
Dan is also Manager of an international World Sailing Class Association active within Para Inclusive Sailing and remains closely involved in the international development of the sport, with a particular focus on commercial partnerships, sustainable programmes and increasing opportunities for participation worldwide.
Dan is putting all this experience to good use as Managing Director of Pindar, working alongside Andrew Pindar OBE DL to develop a business built upon an exceptional international network established over more than 30 years. Pindar’s growing activities span Marine Logistics, Insurance, Sailing and Consultancy, supporting professional teams, international events, classes, governing bodies and marine organisations worldwide.
