Sam Watson is Chief Executive Officer of North Technology Group (NTG), the global leader in sailing and watersports. NTG employs more than 3,600 people across 40 countries and owns a portfolio of industry-leading brands including North Sails, Doyle Sails, Quantum Sails, Southern Spars, Future Fibres, Hall Spars, North Kiteboarding, Mystic and North Sails Apparel.
Originally from New Zealand and now based in Connecticut, Sam joined NTG in 2011 and lead the Southern Spars and North Kiteboarding businesses before becoming Group CEO in 2022. He is passionate about building enduring businesses through innovation, operational excellence, and a deep focus on customer experience, helping NTG strengthen its position as the leading company in the sailing industry.
