Yacht Racing Forum extend Sunset+Vine’s contract until 2019

– Sailing specialist remains the official TV production partner for the leading annual conference for the business of sailing and yacht racing
– The World Sailing Show is confirmed as the official global television series of the Forum
July 17, 2018 – Global TV sports producer and distributor, Sunset+Vine will remain the Yacht Racing Forum’s official TV Production partner for a further two years, following a contract extension announced today. The UK-based media business, a world-leader in sailing TV production and distribution, will partner the event that takes place between 22nd and 23rd October in Lorient, France. And in a new initiative The World Sailing Show will become the official global TV series of the Forum.

We are also delighted to announce the partnership with The World Sailing Show that will see our Forum represented in the world’s leading grand prix sailing series on both television, YouTube and social channels.”

Sunset+Vine has a long history with major sailing events. This includes three Host Broadcaster and distribution appointments by the Volvo Ocean Race; the BBC’s sailing coverage for the Beijing, London and Rio Olympics; the provision of production services for the 35th America’s Cup in Bermuda which included news distribution, UK live and highlights programming for BT Sport and the BBC. The company will be the host broadcast and distribution partner for the Aarhus 2018 Hempel Sailing World Championships taking place next month.

Sunset+Vine has a strong relationship with World Sailing, the world governing body of the sport. This has seen them be host broadcaster and distribution partner for the previous two Sailing World Championships in Perth (2011) and Santander (2014). In addition, Sunset+ Vine produces the monthly sailing documentary series Mainsail for CNN. Sunset+Vine’s Media Partnership division also distributes all news, digital and broadcast coverage of Sailing World Cup Series, The Extreme Sailing Series, the TP52 Super Series and produces and distributes content for Oman Sail and Lendy Cowes Week.
