Organiser of the Global Solo Challenge

Marco Nannini

Marco Nannini is the organiser of the Global Solo Challenge. After a career in banking in the City of London he decided  to take part in the Global Ocean Race 2011/2012 taking second place overall. He became sailor of the year in Italy in 2012 and was awarded a Medal of Merit by the Presidency of the Italian Senate. His sailing experience includes the OSTAR, Round Britain & Ireland and Route du Rhum.
